What is a Dependa?
Spouses and children of services members are called Dependents.
Dependa:
A stereotype that implies the military spouse sits at home doing nothing while their service member works and sacrifices to make them comfortable; spouse who wants special treatment because of their service member's rank or position.
AKA
Dependapotamus
Both have been used as derogatory terms, but not here ;)
